It's easy getting stuck in bad habits in your every day life. By having a good posture and the right technique when carrying things or doing household chores, you can avoid injuries. 

  • Stand with a good posture and legs slightly apart (whether you're lifting or cleaning)
  • Get close to what you're going to lift
  • Keep a flat back 
  • Bend your knees
  • Avoid bending and twisting at the same time. 
  • Always lift up or put down while keeping your knees bent

Especially when vacuuming, it's common to bend the back instead of knees. Longterm it will hurt your back so be careful to bend your knees.
