20 days to my big challenge

It's only 20 days to my big challenge, and I'm starting to feel a few butterflies... It's good though to get out (or rather fly out), of my comfort zone. More on that nerve wrecking topic here. 

 

 

My status at the moment:

  • I've done a few longer ones, not the full length though

  • Attended a cycle maintenance course, so I know how to fix my bike like a pro

  • All gear sorted 

  • I'm more or less used to my clip on shoes, so no more falling, fingers crossed.

  • I've had a tactical talk with my cycling pal, big broe. He's ready to push me forward if needed :)

  • Started to brainstorm my prize for getting past the finishing line. I think it will involve pizza, and some nice snacks and drinks, and a few days after when the pain is gone, a massage. I'm gonna paint a picture in my head and keep focusing on it when the pain is too bad. 

  • I feel happy and excited
