How you get your workout done when its cold and dark

It's easy to blame the cold and the dark for not getting your workout done. The couch is a cosier option, but more unhealthy option. Here are 5 quick tips on how to get it done no matter the weather


Workout on your way to or from work. If you don't allow yourself to sit down in your comfy couch in the first place, there's no risk of getting stuck there. 

Exercise at home. There's plenty you can do from the comfort of your home. Search on the web or ask me for ideas.

Book a workout date with a friend - you can't disappoint them, you have to go! 

Put on layers on layers so that you're sweating and wanting to get out.

Find a type of exercise that makes you tick - swimming, dancing, tennis, boxing, running, climbing - try different types until you find that special one for you, that you just can't be without
